Incredible. Almost enough said. We saw sea otters for the first time, and walked through one of only 2 naturally occurring cypress groves in the world.

| The orange stuff was found on the trees and rocks on the north side of the headlands. One might think it's lichen but it is green algae with a lot of carotene (orange pigment) in it. Science teachers - eat your heart out. |

More sea lions - you can hear them barking from quite a distance.
